So yeah was headed home from work this morning was about 2 minutes from home, about to turn off College onto my road and as i start up a hill, I see this car coming head on at me, passing a truck (yeah he was in MY lane trying to pass on a freaking hill, dumb ass) So I see the car coming at me knew there was no chance of him stopping and trying to avoid head on collision I hit the ditch well he stomps the break and either he can't handle the car well or cause he had a little spare I'm not sure, but after he stomped on the brake he headed for the ditch and plowed right into the side of my car. I thought he was gonna go right by me but then i seen it turn and knew he was coming straight for me and there was nothing I could do except wait for it. He slammed right into my door, jerked me around good. Luckily when he hit the door he hit close to the back and at a little bit of an angle and got the door post and that turned him back out a bit and made my car jerk over out of the way, if he'd hit a little further up he'd just went straight on into me and it'd been a lot worse. I was lucky.

I did whack my head pretty good on the window at least I think so. Don't remember, think I way have blacked out for a little bit no more than a few seconds, long enough for the guy to get out of his car and head towards me. I hit both sides of my head on something, Left side hit my window it's pretty sore, red and swollen. right side hurts a little and was red and little swollen but not like the other side. My next was strained pretty bad from whiplash and scratched up and bruised from the seat belt. My side got the seat belt rash too. And my knees are little bruised up and hurting.

So banged up a bit but nothing too bad, had to go to ER. Ambulance took me down all packaged up with the collar and back board (Fun Stuff) cause my neck and in my ear where I hit was hurting. They did lots of x-rays and a few CT's and everything was ok. So I'm alright. They said just a strained neck no real damage. Got some restrictions for a few days cause of head injury and got some muscle relaxers for the neck and sent home. Feeling better now except the sore neck and major headache that won't go away. But I will live YAY me.

As for my car, not sure what will happen with it yet. I will post an update after I find out.

OK so yesterday was awesome!! I went to the Taste of Chaos show in Atlanta, well technically Duluth GA. We saw a couple little bands I ain't ever heard of. Bless the Fall was pretty good I may have to check them out. I liked there little rocking back and forth in time together they do it's kinda neat. Then the main bands took the stage.

We got Bullet for My Valentine, don't know much of there stuff, I have a few songs I'm downloaded and I like them, they played a few that sounded familiar and I liked. I'll probably be listening to them more, maybe next time I'll know them better. Then was Atreyu, they were great, they played the songs I like, they played some old stuff I didn't know but I enjoyed it too. Then the best one EVER!! Avenged Sevenfold, really I have to say they put on the best show of any I've seen yet. It was great they played the songs I LOVE by them, and put on such a great show doing it. It was just AWESOME!! They are fun to watch and that always makes for a great time, and the extras and effects were amazing too. If you listen to that kind of music at all and ever get a chance to see them, GO it will be soooo worth it.

I never have been a big fan of any of them. Just knew a few Bullet songs, Like the new Atreyu album don't know any of there old stuff, and A7X, eh, I like some of there stuff never really got into them until recently but I did like all the bands so I thought it might be worth it. It definitely was worth it. I'm so glad I went It was worth the 4 hours I had to drive to get there, thanks to a wreck and lots of backed up traffic, and the 3 hour drive back.

Only complaint had nothing to do with bands or the show, just the place.... Gwinett Center or whatever it was. They have some pretty stupid rules. We got to the door and they asked if we had metal on cause they were swiping everyone with metal detectors before they could go in. Well, she sees my wallet on a chain tells me take it off as I do she sees my studded belt says it's gotta come off and even my bracelet that was studded. I take them off and then she says they gotta stay and this guy says or you can take it to your car cause if you don't we'll throw it away, I was like "are you high" you ain't throwing my shit away. So I had to walk back to the car and put that stuff up, and walk around all night pulling my pants up, then go back and get in line again. Then I go by her again, I start to tell her I still have the wallet in my pocket and it has metal snaps on it it may go off. I get out "Oh, I still have..." and it's beeping all over and she just goes "It's just a phone right, it'll be ok" I just said yeah and went through. So she didn't even question it, even provided an excuse, I'm like OK apparently they ain't too concerned so why the hell they making us take off belts. I saw a lot of people walking around pulling up pants all night, so it wasn't just us, but I did see a few people that were wearing studded belts just like the ones I see people having to take off. I even seen one that had a women belt no metal to it but the beckle and he had to take it off, so what the hell. It makes no sense to me.

AMY BROWN:: I just love her work her paintings are amazing. I just fell in love with them the first time I saw them. They are very beautiful and she is very talented.

DISNEY: Well, what can I say I just love Disney. Always been a fan of Disney, some of my all time favorite movies are some Disney classics. And yes I still watch them all and I still watch Disney channel. You got a problem with that then :p I don't care. Everyone loves Disney at some point in time, I just hung on to it longer than most.

FAERIES: See Amy Brown. LOL . I just love Faeries, always have and when I got into the Amy Brown art work it just got much worse. I love her Faeries. And after reading books like Tithe which is about Faeries I really got into them more than just oh, those are pretty. I just love Faeries. It's just a thing I cant' really explain, I just do.

MUSIC: Uh, Ok how can you even ask this. It's music. Come on. If you know me at all this is self explanatory. I just love music (Yes I love lots of things) It's one of the best ways you can express yourself. I like other forms of expression as well, drawing, painting, writing.... Music just seems the best one to me, cause you have the whole writing of your feelings, but then to put it to music and sing it justs takes it to a whole other level. I have always loved music. When I was very little I learned to play piano and would try to write songs and make up my own music. Then I would stop and throw them away cause my brother made fun of me so I always thought this was something I couldn't really do. But I did still write, I do still like to write things, just not so good at the music stuff, it's been so long. I'm afraid I won't be able to pick up on it again. I even bought a guitar to try and learn to play but can't make myself do it.

TATTOOS: Again with the self expression things. I love tattoos. I love looking at them and asking people what is that and why did you get it. Tattoos should always mean something to the person in some way. I like to hear stories about how and why they got the tattoo. Why I love shows like L.A. Ink, Miami Ink, and Inked. I love hearing the stories behind them and they are always so beautiful to look at. I have only one. I finally went and got the first time done. I've been kinda nervous about it, but got my best friend Jess to go with me to get one after I agreed to pay for hers as a birthday present. I just didn't really want to go alone the first time. But I have a few others I want and will get one day. They are just amazing it's a great piece of art and a piece of you and your history that you will get to carry with you forever. I just love that.

WICCA: OK well, this is a fairly new one to me. I've always has an interest in the culture and lifestyle of the Wiccan people. When I was just out of high school I got my first real insight into it. A girl I worked with was Wiccan and talked to me about things she did and got me very interested. I had known a few people before that talked about being "Into witchcraft" but in school most people just do that to look "bad" or "scary" they don't really follow it. She was the first "True Wiccan" I ever knew and she got me very interested in it. I researched it for a while and learned more about. Then about a year ago I ordered me some books about Wicca: "Wicca " by Scott Cunningham and the second of the set "Living Wicca" also by Scott Cunningham and a few others talking about spells and such and I also got a small pocket book that is all about the Wiccan Rede and explains it's meanings. I read these and thought about it and decided I really liked the ideas behind these beliefs all about nature and loving the world around you and respect for all the living things and of course the close to the Rede "Harm none do as ye will" the whole harm none what does that sound like hmm nurse maybe. It just goes so well with what I think and how i feel so I decided to start following this religion, I'm not that much into it as of yet still learning. trying to get all my rituals and sabbats down.

YORKIES: Well I always thought they were just so cute. and now that I have my ozzy I just love him soooo much I couldn't imagine being without him he is my baby and I love him so much.

And a little bit of a rant.....

OK so. My question is.

I am a 24 Y/O I'm already out of school (College) graduated with my degree and got a job and have been working there for 2 1/2 years. Not to mention I'm working on being a home owner, in the process of buying my home now. But the question is shouldn't this be a good thing. Wouldn't most people think it's a good thing to be young and already have that accomplished. That is question 1, Next question is Why do the idiots I work with think and act like this is a bad thing.

I had a experience at work the other might, been meaning to post this since. I was at work (OB nurse at local hospital) Taking care of and OB check, chick that came in to be "Checked" for some reason. Well OK, got her on the monitors watching her and her baby's strip(Heart rate) looked well not really bad, but not good either. So I call the doc and tell him what it's doing and he's all, "well I don't know what your saying, Your not telling me what I need to know." So he asks to talk to one of the other nurses that was working she gives him the EXACT same freaking report that I did about this girl. And he tells her "Oh, well now I know that's what I wanna here." I was like what the hell man. OK and he tells her she needs to tell me that basically I don't know how to give a report since I've only been there for about a year. So she needs to tell me how to do it. And the other nurses all tell me that he only did that cause I'm so young.

Again WHAT THE HELL, come on people. The people I work with are all the time saying shit about this and it drives me insane. They make lil' comments like that all the time. I was talking about trying to get days off and something about my schedule being so crappy and there were like "Ah, well your young you can handle it" And they make little comment about I don't have to do anything when I'm not working cause I don't have a husband or kids. So they think I should be able to come in and work every night when they need help and try to call me or wanna swap a day.

I've been annoyed with this since day one and they keep on and on about it but for some reason the other night with him just irked me so bad. I don't know why. I think it was something to do with the whole questioning my ability and saying that basically I don't know what I'm doing and second guessing me and asking another nurse who wasn't even taking care of the patient. And the the lil' "She's only been her what? A year" What the hell was that he knows how long I've been there it's not like we got that many nurses, and the nurse he asks of course she couldn't correct him seeing as she ain't been there but maybe six months. Sorry, this just got on my nerves so bad, I had to bitch to someone about it.

Well I'm finally to a computer. I'm at Jess's using her laptop laid up on her bed. She attempted to get mine to steal some internet but couldn't do it, and I'm not quite capable of sitting up at the computer desk at mom's just yet. I'm barely bending my knee. But yes. I had my surgery on Monday, went well I guess. I lived. Didn't hurt too too bad. And I"m recovering pretty well. Been to 2 physical therapy sessions so far and they've got me to bend my knee pretty good and lifting my leg up but it's still real weak, will be for a while but it's getting better. Just thought I'd give an update if anyone is interested. Once I'm able to sit up for a while I'll be back online with nothing better to do and probably posting more.

Orthopedic to be exact, about my knee. It's been hurting me for about 7 or 8 years now. Well my doctor finally decides something needs to be done. So he did an MRI said all it showed was some swelling in the bone. So he referred me to an orthopedic doctor. Well had my appointment with him yesterday and today I had to call and schedule my surgery. Yep I'm having to have surgery done to fix it. It's called Lateral Retinacular Release. The paper he gave me about it says that "To relieve abnormal force and pressure on your kneecap the tight structure on the side of the knee known as the lateral retinaculum will be cut from inside the knee using a arthoscope and a small knife" Well, if that made any sense to you good. If not don't know what to tell you. But I will be having surgery on April 16th. So I'm kinda nervous about this. Don't like the idea of being cut on, or the whole not being able to walk after wards. But if it helps it will be sooo much better than hurting all the time.
